DP2/26 – Credit Unions: Supporting sustainable growth and resilience
The PRA and FCA have published discussion paper DP2/26 on whether the regulatory and legislative framework for credit unions remains fit for purpose to support sustainable growth and resilience. The paper covers proportionality, competition and innovation, governance and risk management, and orderly market exit, and it seeks views and evidence without proposing any policy change at this stage. It concerns the roughly 340 UK credit unions and their members.
