HKMC’s Social Bonds Allocation Update and Impact Report for November 2025 Social Bond
The HKMC published its Social Bonds Allocation Update and Impact Report for its November 2025 social bond, covering allocation of net proceeds and social impacts as of 30 September 2026. Survey on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)’ Credit Conditions for Third Quarter 2026
The HKMA published results of its quarterly Survey on SMEs' Credit Conditions for the third quarter of 2026, conducted by the Hong Kong Productivity Council with about 2,500 SMEs. The survey reports that SMEs' perceived bank credit approval stance and new credit application outcomes both changed, with the HKMA cautioning that the results are opinion-based and prone to fluctuation.

The HKMA, on behalf of the HKSAR Government, announced a competitive tender of RMB0.75 billion of 3-year RMB institutional Government Bonds through re-opening of existing issue 05GB2912002 under the Infrastructure Bond Programme. Tender is open only to Primary Dealers appointed under the programme, and other investors apply through them.

Hong Kong’s Latest Foreign Currency Reserve Assets Figures Released
The HKMA published its latest official foreign currency reserve assets figure, US$440.5 billion as at end-October 2026, up from US$432.9 billion at end-September 2026. The release also notes no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at end-October and end-September 2026, and lists the HKMA's scheduled monetary data press release dates for November 2026.

Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit concludes with “Conversations with Global Investors” investment forum
The HKMA, SFC and Hong Kong Academy of Finance held the "Conversations with Global Investors" forum on 4 November 2026, concluding the three-day Global Financial Leaders' Investment Summit 2026. The event brought together more than 300 participants from financial markets, commercial and public sectors, and discussed topics including asset and wealth management, alternative investments, and AI in portfolio management and risk assessment.

HKMA hosts fifth Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit
The HKMA reports on the fifth Global Financial Leaders' Investment Summit, held over three days, which gathered about 280 global financial leaders under the theme "Rethinking the Playbook". The event covered macroeconomic trends, market shifts and technological advances, and was open to banks, securities firms, asset managers, insurers and other financial sector participants.
